Anti-Fraud and Phishing Notice

Important Security Notice — Please Read Carefully

Unknown national or international criminal entities have used our firm name, former address, and other information from publicly available sites. In an effort to scam people, they have created fictitious letterhead suggesting that this firm manages a cyber crime and fraud compensation fund and offering compensation to the unwary.

Fictitious Email Addresses

The reply email addresses used in these scams are fictitious, often utilizing strange alterations of the attorney's name. Examples of the type of fraudulent email addresses used include variations such as:

  • PatrickJohntierney@.....
  • tierneyjonny@.....
  • Or totally unrelated reply-to email addresses.

The firm does not directly solicit individuals outside of New Jersey and rarely does so in-state.

If You Receive Such an Email
